qualitative and quantitative
GROWTH
1.Growth could be observe and measured.
2.Growth is one aspect of development.
3.Individual difference exist in growth among children.
4.Growth is not affected very much by learning.
5.Growth is not directional.
DEVELOPMENT
1.Development is continuous in all areas of mental activity.
2.Development is complex.
3.Rate of development is also not uniform.
4.Learning and experience affect development to a very great extent.
5.Development is progressive and sequential.
